Absolutely! Weather in the Pacific Northwest can be pretty crazy. As such, I'd be happy to do an in-home lifestyle session with you. I can provide you with tips for preparing for an in-home session, to make it the best possible experience for you.
I highly recommend you wearing everyday clothes. I think it's important to capture life just as you are. Also, don't forget your accessories - shoes, jackets, watches, etc. These items often get overlooked when selecting the perfect outfit for your photos.
I'd also avoid wearing too matchy-clothing. Think neutrals with a single pop of color, or a mix of plaid and floral, etc. I'd be happy to have a discussion with you prior to our session to help you achieve the outcome you want most.
Life happens. I ask that if you need to cancel that you please allow me as much time as possible leading up to the session. I understand that things can happen unexpectedly. When this is the case - if you need to cancel within 1 week of your session, I ask that you please either pay a 50% non-refundable deposit or reschedule for a session on a different date.
Kids are amazing! They also all come with their own personalities, and that means sometimes they don't want to smile for the camera. That's okay! The best thing for you to do is to come to the session with the most positive attitude you can. Kids reflect the feelings of those around them, so if you are having fun, they will too. It's my job to capture those tiny smiles when they are trying so hard to be upset, and I will.
I will always provide you with a digital download of all of your photos and full copy rights, as I strongly believe that these are your photos to do what you will. You are welcome to print wherever you'd like, but I do offer high-quality professional prints and products as well. All I ask is that you think of me when a friend is asking for a referral, and special tip: I'd avoid printing at Walgreens, their quality is not the best.
